About Peak Challenge

Getting out on to the hilltops, feeling the elements and pushing beyond your limitations is the philosophy behind Peak Challenge. Founder, Stuart Rose has a contagious ambition to make outdoor mountain challenges more accessible to everyone. He believes that everyone has their own idea of what our ultimate goals are, what our peak is or what we want to achieve in our lives. He achieves this by providing adventurous challenges, in the most iconic and beautiful areas of the United Kingdom.

Peak Challenge was formed in 2018, using Stuart’s past experience in running a team-building event company and being a qualified mountain guide - as well as being an established Scout Leader.

Brand Discovery

We were approached by Stuart, to help him express his vision to be a leading provider of outdoor challenges within the UK. We were gifted with over 18 years of vision, experience and inspiration to compile in to one concise and clean brand identity. Climbing a mountain is a journey of mental and physical work, which can allow you to not only reach the summit of the hill, but a breakthrough within your own personal wellbeing.

We dug deep to create a brand identity which would reflect this idea of challenging yourself in the great outdoors, overcoming your personal difficulties in life and to come out on top. We paid homage to Stuart’s favourite mountain; Ama Dablam, Nepal and included symbolism which refer the Peak Challenge values, to wind and work your way through life until you reach the peak you set out for.

Brand Development

After thorough development sessions, we uncovered the various different aspects of Peak Challenge that we needed to clearly communicate to the audience. We created a system, which could simply be spread across all platforms. We were thinking social first, in order to introduce the brand to the intended audience.

We worked together to develop a particular language which was clear and appealing, as well as trustworthy and friendly. The overall aim was to make the audience feeling comfortable and not intimidated, while also helping them to feel they were capable of taking on a Peak Challenge.

getting online to be offline

We established quickly that having a seamless online booking system for Peak Challenge would be the most sufficient service to provide for users. Our friends over at Chews Life Web Design, helped us to produce a website which provides Peak Challenge customers with a simple experience, where they can browse and book their challenges, based on variables such as; dates, difficulty and location.

We designed and produced a website which would automate workflow, so he could really focus on what he is good at. Stuart is a family man, so in creating an automated booking service we were able to reduce his working hours, so he was able to focus on creating memories with his family - another one of his core values.
